I'm sure everyone can relate to this blog post.
What exactly is regret? Regret is an uncomfortable feeling letting you know that something you did or failed to do can’t be changed. It’s a sense-of-loss that you feel about something.
At one stage or another in your life I bet you have done something that you regret and that you play that situation over and over again in your head about how you should have/ could have done things differently to get a different outcome, F*ck I know I have... well let me tell you those thoughts of regret are a waste of time, nothing can be done to undo what has already been done, unless there has been a time machine invented that i am unaware of?
Instead of regretting what has happened, you need to turn the situation around and ask yourself, what have I learnt?
Moving past regret:
1. accept where you are right now
2.Learn from this
3. Focus on the good
4. move forward
You can spend hours of your life with regrets or you can move on with knowing you have learnt something. Lately I have been thankful instead of miserable and I have never felt so great!
