Everyday we are all being pulled in so many directions by work, friends, family, life etc. I personally have a habit of trying to make sure everyone else is happy before I am happy, I put everyone else's needs before my own.This past month has made me realise it's time to put myself first and start living my life, without caring what other people think.
Yes, I love helping people don't get me wrong but when you are busting your non existent balls trying to help them and those people you go out of your way for are not grateful for all you do, what's the point? A simple thank you can go a long way.
Over time I’ve come to realise that acting in your own best interests, when done properly, isn’t a selfish act – it’s a way to ensure that you’re making the very best of your life, so that you can help those around you to make the very best of theirs. You have a choice and the choice is yours to make, will you go out and do what you need to do to regain your happiness or will you continue serving everyone else but yourself? At the end of the day your number one priority should be yourself, putting yourself first is not selfish it is essential.
Sometimes we need to just relax. Stress and anxiety can be a contributor to negative attitude and depression, which then leads to lower self-esteem, low energy, and lack of motivation. Sometimes you need to take some time for yourself and find ways to reduce your stres
