I know I'm at a stage in my life where I refuse to tolerate anymore bull$hit, If I dont like something or someone I'm not going to waste my time on it anymore, Im getting too old/wise to tread on eggshells for anyone.
So how do you find your tribe and your trainer?
There are over 15 trainers in this area alone so choosing one can be hard. The first thing people tend to look at is value for money, I know I have personally done training that I really enjoyed but just couldnt afford to fork out $20+ a class. So the first thing I would suggest is to look at value for money and special offers. With health and fitness consistency is the key and if you can't afford to be consistent you may lose motivation.
Secondly, finding a trainer/ group that you get along with and feel comfortable with. I have had a few people come to a class then go else where, which is totally fine by me. At the end of the day we are all different and different personalities get along with different people, that is what makes the world go round.
Thirdly, make sure you get ongoing support - it isnt just about attending one class and being thrown in the deep end, to me fitness is journey that provides you the foundations for a healthy future. This support is what will help you get results, knowing someone has your back will motivate you to even more to reach those goals.
Lastly, MAKE SURE YOU ENJOY IT.
I know with my fitness classes we are like one big family. I love that my classes have created an environment for likeminded individuals. I love waking up and coming to work each day to see my tribe.
If EFIT isn't the right fit for you, I know many great trainers in the area so don't hesitate to message me if you would like a hand :)
