If it is something that you want, whether it be in health, life or fitness you need to put 100% effort in to reach those goals/dreams, you aren't going to reach any of these things if you are just doing it half ass-ed and putting 50% in. Giving 100% is important because it increases the chances of being successful in what you do.

"What you get out of each day depends on what you put in, and that is entirely up to you"

Some reasons you may not be giving it 100%
  1. You have gotten WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too comfortable where you are.. the dreaded comfort zone.
  2. You have a crappy attitude
  3. You actually don't care
  4. You are scared of failing
  5. You don't have a goal

Don't be one of those people who just plod through life, do something worth while. If there is one thing I have learnt in my time at a desk job, its that there are opportunities way more fulfilling  that do not involve a desk, something you will actually get joy from, something where you are not just a number, somewhere you will be valued.

Life is too short to be anything but happy, so give it 100.

SELF-DOUBT

I have touched on this subject a little bit before, but here I am again talking about doubt.

With starting anything new, I had doubts;

  • What if I can't do it?
  • What if I suck?
  • What if people judge me?
  • I'm not good enough.
  • I don't look like them
  • My biggest one was what if I fail?

Since then my mindset has changed to "I have failed myself,  if I don't give it a go" - If you don't try you will never know. 

What if self-doubt was the only thing standing between you and your full potential? Kick those $hitty thoughts to the curb!

How do you overcome self-doubt?
  1. Stop comparing yourself to everyone else
  2. #YOLO
  3. Remove toxic people from your life
  4. Trust your decisions
  5. Keep trying
  6. Take control

SELF LOVE

So many people I know, don't love themselves. I believe this hinders their progress as a person and prevents so many opportunities from arising. You are destined for great things and you need to believe that, you can be anything you put your mind to. Having a healthy view of yourself changes everything about your life and good things WILL follow.

Sure, you can get cosmetic things done to change your exterior but if you don't work on whats on the inside and how YOU feel about yourself, its the inside that will be forever ugly and what is on the inside is most important.

Here are some things to get you started on your journey to self-love.

What is self love? 
  • Putting yourself first and stop trying to please everyone
  • Giving your body rest, exercise & comfort
  • Doing things that make you feel good
  • Building a life YOU love
  • Accepting yourself
  • Making time for yourself
  • Owning your "faults"
  • Trusting the journey
  • Realising you are NOT your mistakes

Yes, It has taken me ages to get to this point but hey, I'm on my way and you know what? Things are falling into place. Having self love has given me confidence and courage to change parts of my life that I had outgrown or didn't like anymore, It has given me courage to end toxic friendships and remove the negative people from my life.

Instead of all this self loathing we need to learn to love ourselves and be proud of our journey, being a female in this era is hard, I get that.. I really do and I  know that there are so many things you compare yourself to, but we need to break the mold and try something different, Everything we see and experience influences who we are. It is time to stand tall and love what we have got, who we are and love our amazing selves, Its time to break the mold!

Self-love & being happy are necessary foundations for reaching your goals.
