Life is too short to wait for another Monday.
Start your journey to becoming your best self today, be better than you were yesterday.. Why wait any longer? What actions can YOU do TODAY to make tomorrow a better day? Can you prepare your food today for a better tomorrow? Can you pack your gym bag so you are organised for tomorrow? Or can you lay the clothes you need for your workout ready to go? It's these simple things that help so much, being organised is the key.
Leave the mindset that you need expensive equipment and products to get started at the door. Health & fitness isn't just about the weights and protein shakes its about actually getting out there and doing something... anything! How about simply going for a walk with friends or family or doing some body-weight exercises? There are plenty of online resources available too.
With fitness it's not just about the equipment, the fancy watch, supplements or a gym membership, sure some of those things can help but they are definitely not required to start your journey and get you those results that you want. It's about your motivation, mindset and drive you have to achieve the goals you want to reach so badly, Stop letting your excuses get in your way of starting your journey.
I start my my weekdays at 430am soon to be 4am so I can walk my dogs, train in the morning, eat a healthy breakfast and be at work by 7am, I may not like doing that all the time but every little thing I do is getting me closer to my goal which keeps me motivated to battle through.
So I encourage you to take one step forward to reaching your goals today, don't wait until tomorrow!
At one stage or another I have found myself comparing myself to others, I'm sure you have too.
The list goes on... and on... and on.
We all compare ourselves to somebody else at some stage or another - unfortunately, it is human nature to compare yourself to people around you. These days it is too easy to feel inadequate thanks to the internet.. even magazines, The comparison game is a dangerous trap!

We need to start being happy with our own success/progress, and stop comparing ourselves to others because it is is a self destructive mindset that has no benefit.
There is one person you should compare yourself to, and that is who you were yesterday!! Can you be better than your were yesterday? The answer is always yes!
The trick to being better than yesterday is to not worry about what other people are doing, everyone is different and what works for them might not work for you. Ask yourself what goals can I set myself to improve from yesterday? Stop focusing on what you don't have and be grateful for what you do have. Lets all start focusing on what we can change rather than things that are out of our control, It is time to take responsibility put your big girl/boy pants on and start conquering your goals.

Even I struggle with my own body image, but then I look back at how far I have come and all the healthy changes I have made and become proud of how far I have come.

After having a meeting with my inspiring mentor about the amazing things that are going to be happening very soon, I realised how important it is to make sure you surround yourself with like minded people.
One of the things that will help you along your journey in health and fitness is having a support network, people who have similar goals to you, people who inspire you to continue when you don't think its possible, people who will push your boundaries because they know you are capable when you don't
As Jim Rohn said “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.”
Have a think about it.. If you surround yourself with people who want to succeed, are passionate about what they do, and are energetic then that, in itself, is contagious.
Passion + energy = success. In my experience successful people like helping others achieve their goals, which means you are likely to reach your goal faster if you surround yourself with like minded people.
Your environment shapes who you are and what you will become, you must remember that you are in control of your life and the choices you make. If you choose to surround yourself with negativity nothing good will come from it.
Its up to you on the life you wish to live, I personally choose to spend my life with the positive thinkers, the entrepreneurs, people who are driven by the future and the potential that life has to offer.
